About the EVENT

Now in its fifth year, ROAR is a bike ride, hike and festival organized to raise funds for Kennedy Krieger Institute’s autism research and treatment programs. This year’s event on Saturday, April 25, 2009 gives riders a unique opportunity to join together to help fight this complex, life-altering disorder.

RIDE for Autism Research

Riders can opt for a 5-10- , 25- , or 50-mile ride through some of Baltimore County’s most scenic neighborhoods. There’s even a low-mileage ride specially designed for kids! Rest stops will be available for riders who need water breaks, and bike repair services will be on the courses for any unforeseen mishaps. All rides start and end at Oregon Ridge in Cockeysville. Check-in and registration start at 7:00am.

Directions to Oregon Ridge Park.

HIKE for Autism Research

If you'd rather keep your feet on solid ground, but still want to support the cause - we've got that path covered too. Register to HIKE for Autism Research and start lacing up those hiking boots. You'll be spending the day on the park's beautiful nature trails.

SNORE for ROAR

Can't quite drag yourself out of bed that early on a Saturday, but still want to support Autism Research at Kennedy Krieger? Register that you'd rather Snore than ROAR and we'll send you a commemorative t-shirt!
